i talked today to harry osterman, my state rep. personally.
he said- he agrees totally that the sooner george bush is neutralized, the better. if he gets a chance to debate/vote this bill, he will have a lot to say.
i asked him to please sign on as a co-sponsor. that it will never get out of committee with 17 sponsors.
i told him that there were about 40 of us that were talking, and posting, and that we were committed to forwarding this legislation and covering the backs of those politicians that stood up and did the right thing.
he thought a second, and promised to talk to "them" about it, and give it serious consideration.

i also called ronan, currie, (where the aide said- did you call before? i said i wrote a letter. hmmm she said. i did call last week and left a message.) madigan, and schakowsky. (jan's aide said- she tries to stay out of state politics. i said- as a christine cegelis supporter, i knew she does not always stick to her knitting.)
i have to call back later to talk to joe moore's guy.

they are listening. we need to pump up the volume.
