During the candidate forums, Hare spoke about the issues and made a point to say that he isn't afraid to stand for Democratic Party values. His election as the nominee is a real victory for progressives. This will be one of the most watched and competitive Congressional races in the nation, so I'm sure he'll need our help.

He spoke about setting a timetable for brining troops home from Iraq, Universal Single Payer Health Care, and his opposition to CAFTA/NAFTA and GATT.
