Join us as we pass out flyers about the DNC and Governor Blagojevich in front of Cubs Park! No race can be taken for granted and the more we inform people and get them involved, the more confident we can be about the election in November. We'll be joined by volunteers from ProChoice America. Hope to see you there. We'll have buttons and flyers.

I know LoZoccolo's a Sox fan as are many other IL DU'ers. Actually someone should go to the site LZ cited and give them joking grief about it.

BTW, I don't believe in the "curse" theory about the Cubs anymore either. I gave up on them after they broke my heart for the umpteenth time in October, 2003.

Bottom line, they're just not a good enough ball club to win. That being said though I still consider myself a Cub fan, but I've resigned myself to the fact that I'll never live to see them win a NL pennant let alone the WS.

Glad to see you back on DU. I missed your posts while you were taking your well deserved break.

In my life here in Chicago, I've noticed that many Sox fans call Wrigley "Cubs Park". Never understood that.
I'm also guilty in a way. I still call US Celluiar Field "Comiskey".
