2. LOVELY evening we are having.

Lights, etc., went out at work. We got the lights back pretty quickly, but the network, email, internet, etc. stayed down longer. Driving home from Skokie to Forest Park, I mostly outran the storm, but the skies opened four blocks from home and I could barely see.

To recover, I am having a strong adult beverage.

Water leaking in through the foundation, on a 15 year old house.

4. got about 3" of water in my finished basement.

3rd time in 20 years. and it's 3" because i was there to stop it. the bathtub filled all the way to the top. big fun. i'm thinkin' there will be a run of shopvacs today.
