Congressional Candidate Forum, January 14!

HanDI is hosting the Democratic primary candidates for the 6th and the
8th Congressional districts at our January meeting!

Contenders for the 6th District nomination include Stan Jagla and Jill
Morgenthaler, one of whom will face off against Republican incumbent
Peter Roskam in the fall.

Meanwhile in the 8th District primary, challenger Randi Scheurer takes
on Democratic incumbent Melissa Bean.

Come meet the candidates and ask your questions. The event is free and
open to the public.

Note: As of 1/5/08, the Jagla, Morgenthaler and Scheurer campaigns had
confirmed their attendance, while a response is pending from Bean's
office. Check back for updates on our events page as the date
