Is anyone else surprised that WCPT has hired Jake Hartford?

Ugh - I can't stand this guy. WLS dumped him. Why didn't they hire Nate Clay, who was,also, dumped?

Nate is much more in tune with Progressive Radio.

3. Why does WCPT only have shows with white hosts?

It's 2008 it bugs the crap out of me that in the city of Chicago they can only find white talent. What is their definition of progressive?

5. Jake Hartford

I can still remember Jake Hartford when he was an apologist
for convicted ex-governor, George Ryan.  Yet, Jake would
ridicule Lanny Davis and other for defending Bill Clinton
during impeachment hearings.  I am listening to him over WCPT
now, as I type this, and he is talking to a caller who is
slamming progressives.  Is WCPT yielding to Limbaugh's
argument that progressive radio can't make it?

I don't tune in on Saturday anymore until the Dirt Doctor or "Ring of Fire" comes on. I heard Bobby Kennedy, Jr say a few weeks ago that corporations are the true enemies of America. Go Bobby!
