LaSalle County Dems need volunteers!

I just got home from a visit to the La Salle County Dem HQ. There's a volunteer training tonight (Aug 18) at 7:00 pm. HQ is on Norris Drive (US 6) on the west side of Ottawa, just west of the Hi-Way Restaurant.


I probably won't get to the training tonight due to a funeral sermon I need to write, and resting to take care of a health issue, so I feel well enough to do said funeral tomorrow. But I thought I'd do what I could to help.

I don't have the HQ phone number--just the personal cell number of the Volunteer Coordinator. I don't think I should post that unsolicited. But pm me if you're willing to help with the campaign, and I'll give you contact info.

I also encouraged her to post here, and learned she's not a DU'er (yet). I told her she should join, so when she does, give our local campaign worker a big DU Illinois Welcome!
