I am in Precinct 1 in Geneva, Kane County which is historically redder than red. I was in by 6:05 this morning with ten people in front of me in line! When I left by 6:20 - 20 people in line going out the door. One of the election judges said 1/4 of our precinct had early voted too. Awesome ain't it!

My fantasy of course is that everyone in line and early voting were all DEMs and Kane County will go blue. Which is possible actually as many people here are Republican in appearance only for work or for their public persona. So, it could happen.

Going to GOTV now in Aurora - looking forward to reading about everyone else's experiences voting today!

3. Dupage - Bloomingdale 003
Twice as many machines as usual, did not ask me to vote electronic, all paper it seemed.

3/4 booths full, much busier than usual, but no hour long waits either.

4. I am in Quincy
and I waited in line for the first time ever (only 5 minutes, though). All the booths were full, and I was voter #519 at 9:30 this morning. Last election, I voted at 6:30PM and was voter #367.

7. Your county did go blue for Obama.
I understand that Du Page went from zero to three Democrats on the county board.

My son is an election judge in Naperville.
