he bears the name of my great-grandfather from Limerick* - who just happened to die in the exact year that our present Patrick was born (Yeah, I know this it's lame, but I couldn't help myself -- Reincarnation, anyone?)
Actually, the great-grandpop's full name was "Patrick Henry Fitzgerald" -- which made me wonder if HIS father didn't admire that young hero of the American Revolution.
