well, so far my top picks to replace rahm-
mike quigly, cook county commissioner, is a good progressive, has the support, at least unofficially, of a lot of the old deaniacs. will have to answer for the actions of todd stroger.
sara feigenholtz, state rep from lincoln park/lakeview, another good progressive. particularly close to my heart for signing on as a sponsor of karen yarborough's bill to impeach bush in the illinois house a couple of years ago. it was a hail mary, session end, probably never going to see the light of day sort of a bill. but i appreciate the willingness of anyone who wanted to go on record in support of that. the only woman in a pack of dudes.
