People in GDP keep telling me how Illinoisans feel about Burris.

I'm tired of hearing from people in Connecticut and California about the opinions of Illinoisans. There's only one way to find out how Illinoisans feel about Burris--ask 'em!

For the record, I think he should, for legal reasons. But I'm not happy about it. I have nothing against Burris himself. In fact, I respect his years of service to the state. But he does smell of Blagojevich at this point, which is too bad.


But I'm wondering how others in this state feel.

So, do you think Roland Burris should be seated as the junior US Senator from Illinois?

1. I am also tired of pundits and other types

telling us all about our politics here. They don't know anything.

A lot of these politicians are people I have worked with or whose work is known to me. All of a sudden these pundits are experts and insiders.

I am no expert or insider, but I know what I see. I know we need to clean up our deep corruption on both sides of the aisle. I know a few good people who have some ideas about how to do that. If they can make some progress, I want to help. It will not be easy. It will be just as hard as anything Obama is facing. But I wish all those talking heads would just go home.
