Who is going to Governor's Day?

I will be there the night before. My husband and I hope to get to Alexi's party, and we will be at the governor's mansion for the reception/barbecue on Tuesday evening.

We will be at the brunch the next morning. The chairman's association is having a meeting right after, so I will be there, too.

It would be great to see some DUers there. We are staying at the Crowne Plaza.

1. i was planning on going, but

i bailed at the last minute. last year the alderman had a bus, but things are tight this year and we were gonna carpool. i'm just too busy right now to take the time to go. and too tired to drive.
it is fun to do, tho. i wish i had planned better and could have gone tonight.

Weddings and other random crap are keeping me from doing anything out there this year. :(
