Chicago meet-up planned for midwest fans of the Mudflats blog...

What is being called the "Chicago Mudstock" meet-up is tentatively scheduled for Saturday afternoon, Nov. 14th at 2:00 pm in Chicago. (probably at Goose Island Brewery on Clybourn)

This is an open invitation to all midwest mudpups to gather and meet other readers of the wonderful blog known as The Mudflats.

If any of you DUers are interested and would like to join us in the fun, the more the merrier!

You can respond here or go to this muflats forum topic for additional information.

Yep, It looks like there are no alternative sites being offered so Goose Island it is, IMO.

I'll definitely be there regardless how many show up.... if just for the beer on a saturday afternoon.

Not to worry, if you're free saturday Nov. 14 at 2:00 pm, just show up at Goose Island on Clybourn. I for sure will be there regardless and probably 4 or 5 others. That's PLENTY for a party, LOL

The Chicago Mudstock meet-up is definitely set for...

Saturday afternoon, Nov. 14th at 2:00 pm at the Goose Island Brewery Pub, 1800 N.Clybourn, in Chicago's Lincoln Park Neighborhood.

It looks to be an afternoon of DFHs enjoying cold beer, hotwings, and compelling conversation.

Anyone considering attending, please let me know by PM just so we can have a ballpark figure to give the establishment.

7. plenty of parking, but public transit, also.

about 2 blocks to the red line. a doable walk to the brown, as well as the metra trains to kenosha and antioch.
come on folks. been a long time.
