probably nobody remembers my posts about my alderman's last election (2007), and the hitmen that came after him. it's all in my journal. but i wanted to set the record straight about the freeman institute that was involved. i have solid information that it is NOT the freeman institute of maryland, run by dr joel freeman.

it is actually pretty interesting who the freeman institute of chicago actually is- just in case you think that the oligarchs are only interested in buying senators and presidents. they want to take down progressive chicago aldermen, too.

1. Thank you for keeping us in the Loop (So to speak)

Chicago had a brief flurry of honesty there when Jane Byrne took office as the mayor.

I moved to the West Coast shortly after that but still hold a strong remembrance of all the various hanky panky that used to pass as politics in the Windy City.

Very much miss a great deal of the place though. Everything from the Art Institute to the Lake and all the great and friendly people.
