Quinn says he will not block Illinois from the new health care bill

I know Illinois is in a financial bind but being a person with a handicap, (not receiving disability) and being without any medical coverage, just sucks! I never understood why we had medical cards until our son turned 19 and then all of a sudden we were deemed worthless and dropped from the Medicaid program. Our income hasn't changed, our needs haven't changed, and if I am to be able to work, I need some medical procedures done on occasion. It really seems to make more sense to have me being able to work. We will once again qualify for medical cards under this bill so now what? Will we receive a letter notifying us that we can apply again?
