1. I helped campaign for her last year when I went to St. Louis |
|
I handed out Kerry fliers and Claire fliers. Who's she up against? I don't even know your worthless shitbag repuke senators. (Sorry, no offense intended, but I am sure they do suck.) Hopefully she can win this time.

I'll try to throw some money her way... perhaps next summer I can take a weekend to go canvass again (I live about 2 1/2 hours from STL, so it's not a bad drive.) I think I remember Talent now... pardon me, but he's an ugly motherfucker. We need more Dems in Congress, and this seems like it's gonna be a tight race.

Or I should say my daughter is. She attends college in MO and last fall I had register to vote in MO as IL was pretty much a lock. While they registered a buttload of college kids, getting their butts to the poll on election day is another story. One of her friends from IL who did register but didn't get to the poll that day was freakin' scared of me after I gave my daughter an earful. So a suggestion is to get someone to figure out how to deal with this problem. You need some Moms to be down there nagging - I'm sure my daughter would just love for me to be there pounding on dorm doors and knocking on apartment doors.
