Anyone here in the Rochelle area?

My husband and I were returning to Iowa from Chicago today on 88, and we were a couple of cars behind a pretty severe collision involving an older couple and a young man. It was about 1:30-2 pm in the middle of a really bad downpour. I'm just wonder if anyone heard about this accident on the news and if the people involved in it survived.

i live in ronnyland...how about those tolls?! the smart people are turning off at sugar grove and going rt 30 to rockfalls then down to rock island or over to clinton. it`s not that much slower and alot cheaper plus there are decent places to eat.

We were rather amazed that ole 88 turned into the Ronald Reagan Expressway since we last went through. Thanks for the tips on how to avoid the tolls, which were an even greater shocker.

Appreciate any news you can pass on regarding the accident. It was pretty bad. The young guy was in great pain and semi-conscious, but the older couple were in worse condition. They all are on our minds and hearts.
