Can Sodrel and Count Chocula be taken out in 2006
Sodrel was one of the only congresscritters that were elected without an absolute majority, and Chocula only won 54% of the vote.

1. How in the Hell did Sodrel
win the seat that was owned by Lee Hamilton?

3. seat has been long since redistricted
since it was held by Hamilton. Completely different district.

Campaign was a rematch - and a little cabal of dirty tricksters formed a 527 ala swiftboaters (they even used the words "for truth" in their name). Did a nasty media and billboard buy at the last minute - lying about Hill's voting record and suggesting all sorts of vile lies about Hill. Sadly, enough folks bought the lies and switched to Sodrel (Sodrel lost in 2002, to Hill.)

6. It was redistricted and also...
A last minute ad blitz pretty much saying Baron Hill was Baby Killing, Jesus Killing Nazi.

Billboards every where radio ads it was a total barrage.

4. Get rid of Hostettler, please
I escaped his district, and he only won because the Republican Congressional Fund ran the most hateful, idiotic ads against his opponent, Jon Jennings (who I volunteered for).

If you wonder why Hostettler is so bad, he wrote the Protection of Marriage Act that's floating around. 'Nuff said.

5. Choclola is going down
in '06. We almost did it this time with absolutely no help from the DCCC. We ran the campaign on around $500,000 and almsot took him out. The dirty bastard pulled a trick 3 days out from the election accusing the Donnelly campaign of voter registration fraud. Of course nothing came of it but you'd never know that from the local press. The tribune ran a decent op-ed piece after the election about what happened (not written by them of course). Our little puke flacky in the registration office pulled a questionable registration out of a pile and gave it to the count. I believe that's illegal. Fortunately our prosecutor is a Dem. I wonder if he'll bother doing to do something about it.
