Is Indianapolis central or eastern time ? |
|
the map I looked at is confusing, I want to know because I can't be at Kheps service, but I can be observant here while it's in progress. I'm in central do I need to adjust?

1. Eastern, no daylight saving |
|
See www.time.gov for a map of the time zones and daylight savings use.

it was set by the time required to go a hundred miles on the train - so the train crew change points have an effect to this day!
And even towns voted as to which time zone they wanted to be in
fun - eh?

They are Eastern time during the winter, then they switch to Central time during the summer, rather than run the clocks back.
Northwest Indiana stays on Central time, and other portions of Indiana stick to Eastern time, but most of the state does the time zone jump like Indianapolis.
In short, the 3 p.m. service will be 2 p.m. your time.
