regarding Rep. Tom Saunders family member involved in a 'hit and run' fatality??? It's been 6 days going on 7, no arrests. I'm calling it the 'Henry County Chappaquiddick'...

A drunken Saunders? A member of Saunder's family who was drunk?
Does Saunders have a mistress who drives that car?

6. Well...

It happened late last Friday evening, early Sat. morning. Hit and run, Mr. Jackman laid for several hours along the side of the road. Lifelined to hospital, died next day. Saunders contacted authorities on Monday to tell them car had been involved in accident. They moved car before authorities arrived. Son is suspect of interest. Claims of son being drunk and leaving local club intoxicated. A video tape has been mentioned. No arrests. May have to subpoena son for info. As of last evening, son now has no recollection of the accident. Rumors have it that instead of focusing on the son and his involvement, they are now putting focus on smearing the investigator. It's a farce and the kid will probably never serve a single day in jail. :mad:

8. No problem...

In today's local paper Saunders is quoted as saying "I want people to realize that Sunday afternoon, that car was in my garage. Had we not been an honest family, that car could have been sitting there six months from now." I almost vomited!!! He goes on to say that they were not aware that the car had been wrecked until Sat. morning...they moved it into their garage, called the local Republican chairman to his home, who is also a local bail bondsman, and said that they tried to contact their attorney who was out of town, next tried to contact the county Sheriff who was also out of town, so they waited until Monday! I didn't realize our county only had one officer...this is such a coverup!!!

But after all, Young Master Saunders has his whole life and career ahead of him. Can't let a trivial matter like the death of a piece-of-shit Oaf like Mike Jackman derail that...

Yeah, I said Oaf, as in worthless Commoner... That's the best any of us can hope for with this New World Order of Gubbmint of, by and most importantly, FOR the Rich.

I've seen people express more remorse over running down a cat than these Saunders have.
