Indiana has a major Amtrak repair hub which would probably be on the chopping block if it is underfunded or stopped all together.
The 'Governor' Mitch Daniels (Bush, Inc, cronie) is in favor of cutting off Amtrak's money.
You would think he would want to protect Hoosier jobs but alas he doesn't.
I feel for those people in Indiana that will be harmed by this but many of those very same people voted for Mitch and Bush, Inc. Same goes for state workers, many of whom also voted for Mitch.
The GOP abuses its most loyal states again and again. They must just laugh at these dope who lose everything they got and still vote them in again and again.

Obviously don't drive SUVs & (probably) didn't vote for Dubyah.
Question" Is this the same Mitch "The Bitch" Daniels that was Budget director presiding over the biggest deficit in U.S. history?

3. This is a VERY IMPORTANT TOPIC |

A lot of people have overlooked this but millions of people rely on rail transportation the real reason why Bush wants to nix this is because Rail uses less gas and the GOP or the Bush friends the Saudis would not like that.

4. Mitch all in a dither about Camp Atterbury and the jobs there yet |

ok with him if the jobs at the Beech Grove Amtrak facility go away? Oh, yeah, must be because a lot of the Beech Grove Amtrak jobs are Union jobs. Couldn't have Hoosiers actually earning a wage a family could really live on, now could we?
