Help support Jon Jennings (i.e., beat the hell out of Hostettler)

Jon Jennings, Democratic candidate for the 8th district (Crawfordsville to Evansville, basically) is going to be taking part in some local parades, and the campaign is hoping to get some people out there marching with him to show the district he has some support around here.

The two biggest coming up:
Sunday (July 4) - Vincennes, 5:00 p.m. - Bayh is at this one, but don't let that keep you away.

Monday (July 5) - Linton, 10:00 a.m. - Governor Kernan is at this one, so we get double the happiness in supporting Kernan against Bitch Daniels.

Got another stupid form letter from Hostettler today. They can't even keep track of which letters they've answered, already. UGH.

i'm from indy...following this a bit but not up to speed in the bloody 8th. this district is always tight but somehow Hostettler seems to find a way to win. this time, what do you know? any polling yet?

3. Not that I know of

I'm not sure, it's been solidly Republican as John Myers represented us for years and years and years.

But, Jennings does have something working for him, he used to be in sports, and if he gets, say, Larry Bird (who he knows) to come down an endorse him, Hostettler would take a huge hit.

His message might work, it will just be a task of getting people to stop pulling the R lever in November out of habit.
