Since I won't be able to make it to a meet up anytime soon (don't drive, I have the FEAR ;)) I thought I would introduce myself!
I live in Plainfield, right next to Marsh which makes not-driving pretty easy for me! I moved here from Washington State, so this state is pretty boring to me, but the low crime rate in Plainfield makes the boredom quite worth it! I moved here to live with my SO, whom I met online in an msn chatroom. :loveya: I just turned 20, yay! I don't necessarily identify myself as a Democrat, but I am definitely liberal to the core. I miss Washington more than you could believe, but I'm getting pretty comfortable here!

I moved to Indiana a few years ago from the DC area and I actually like it here quite a bit now. It's a little boring at times but the lifestyle is kind of peaceful and relaxing, laidback.

I've got an idea for the no-driving thing: convert a friend to DU, and then bum a ride to a meet-up. It would be great to meet you!

I moved here 32 years ago from Oregon, and have been here ever since. It kind of grows on you. I hope you enjoy it here, we sure could use more active liberals!

Before my SO's band split up, we went to Avon every week because the drummer lived there, and had a nice basement for jammin!

As far as I know Plainfield has no buses, I sure haven't seen any! We can't really afford to drive either, but we live in a great area for non-driving. Grocery store a block away, bank a block away, my mans work is a 10 minute walk and Walmart is about 15 minutes (maybe 20) away.
