Anybody here read the IndyStar.com messageboard?

There are some truly ignorant and hateful people there. I've been debating whether or not I should bother registering to post in there. From the looks of it though, what few liberals are there can't get their message through to anyone, they all attack attack attack and cry out against the vast liberal media. Bunch of freeper types and a small handful of liberals.

And by "they all" I mean the freeper types.

1. I used to frequent a chat room from an Evansville tv station.

It's not really worth conversing with these people. They aren't worth your time. They won't read the posts anyway once they sense the post won't confirm whatever it is they've got milling about in their tiny little pee brains.

If anything you should join to discuss issues with the other progressives on that board and just ignore the whirring sound coming from the right.

3. I agree

There is not much point in attacking stupidity. Try to exchange with people you can learn from and the brain-dead will read along. The Internet is bringing a real education to the American people and you should be concerned with those seeking a true reality. If the brain-dead want to stay behind, just leave them. The economic pain is going to bring a new reality to every common Joe and even the ignorant will want to know what happened to the America they thought existed.

Isn't the price of gas bringing some questioning discussion?

2. That is the best place to be

When WarCriminal had his pollsters declare a 90 percent approval rating after the invasion of Iraq I went to an Austin messageboard. I would just hang in there and call them all brain-dead and keep on going. They eventually shut down the messageboard.

It really is the best place to be for change. One thing you can do is present links to DU, that would tell people of another avenue to information. There are plenty of people that read those boards because they have not found a better place for information.

The one thing I like about DU is the features that come with the messageboard. I would not mind reading FreeRepublic for information if it has some worthwhile features strarting with an ignore feature. If you can get people to come here, they can fortify themselves and take it back to the backwards thinking being spewed in Indiana.

If you want to change things, those hate-filled and ignorant messageboards are the best place. I may join you there as Souder is one of the craziest bastards to ever walk the planet and he is the drug warrior that needs to be put out of our misery more than any other corrupt politician. The only reason I have not done so before is because I could not find a popular messageboard.

Could you put up a link to the messageboard? You could put up a link at cannabisnews.com and marijuana.com and overgrow.com and you would get some recruits to get real on that messageboard. Souder is one despised human being by plenty of people that do not buy into the lies and fraud of Cannabis Prohibition.

You need to learn to use links generously and also copy and paste.

I've occasionally browsed the Indystar.com messageboard myself. From what I've seen I'd have to agree. Except for checking up on local events, I can't stand reading most of the political posts on that board! The ignorance and mean-spiritedness evident on those boards is appalling!

but beware! BigDave gets more people banned than anyone else. All it takes is a word or two about * and you are out. I have already been banned several times myself and find ways to go back and post. The S&N losers who are banned usually go over to the Nuvo boards. www.nuvo.net

20. Big Dave/Felix is a real trip, isn't he?

Can't figure out if he is truly that stupid, or if he gets paid to post that crap.

He wasn't the one to make me quit reading the Star Board though. There's quite a few over there that who just plain vicious. And the nitwit who has a government job and averages 50-60 posts during her workday is just too pathetic to waste my beautiful mind on.

I kind of lost interest after PU/IU got tossed. Whatever happened to him anyway? I know he posted for a while at Nuvo. Did BD get him tossed from there too? I always enjoyed his posts. I even saved his ongoing saga about Smirk's codpiece.
