Well, of course it wasn't the real Jesus. It was some fundy asshole impersonating Jesus.

My car has a "Jesus is a Liberal" bumper stick, which has been there for at least 3 years now without incident.

Yesterday some fundie in a parking lot left the following pink paper note on my windshield:

"I AM the WAY!
I AM the TRUTH!
I AM the LIGHT!

No one sees the Father except through ME

P.S. I AM NOT A LIBERAL

Repent, seek ME, and have life."


Isn't that special?

is that although I've been living in some fundie hellhole of a small town for the last few years (long story), nobody ever said or did anything regarding the sticker.

Now that we're moving to Bloomington (an oasis of open mindedness), I get the note.

Non sequitor - but isn't it odd that of all the places for the Waynesburro Baptist Church folks to go to "protest" a military death (not to protest the war but to proclaim that God Hates America because of Gays) - that they go to Martinsville? Have to think that they turned some folks minds around (re: the disgust factor) away from the Bigotry promoted by the Waynesburro folks.
