She's coming to Bloomington.... |
|
Found on a Bloomington Indiana Discussion forum:
"Ann Coulter, the author of four New York Times bestsellers, the legal correspondent for Human Events and a popular syndicated columnist, will speak Feb. 23 at Indiana University, hosted by Union Board, IU announced today.
Coulter will speak at the IU Auditorium on the topic, "Liberals Are Wrong About Everything!" Her lecture will begin at 7 p.m. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the seating area will open at 6:30 p.m. The lecture is free and open to the public."
I'm not sure I could handle that in person but perhaps there are some brave souls out there....

2. Of all places in the state ... |
|
... she has to go to Bloomington ? The one Democratic stronghold in Indiana ? :wtf:
Why couldn't she go to GOP-ish Carmel, Zionsville, Geist or some podunk redneck village like Mooresville where she'd be gladly recieved by fellow Knuckle Draggers ?

15. I was thinking the same thing |

This is a community that passed a resolution against the "Patriot" Act and hosted an episode of "Democracy Now!" last May. Coultergeist doesn't stand a chance!

3. Are you sure "She" is really a "She"? |

I mean, c'mon, look at that Adam's Apple bobbing up and down as the lies spill from her lizard lips...

She is making the rounds in a lot of college locations where you would not think she'd be welcome. Recently she was speaking at a predominantly black college. That is the reach and strength of the College Republicans in particular and the GOP Crime Syndicate in general.
So what are we gonna do about it? By any means necessary?

5. I almost posted this last week, but decided to spare everyone. |
|
I've known for quite some time that she was coming to B-town. I had to write some remarks for my boss who was giving a scholarship to one of the CR guys who was working to get her here.
I plan to stay far, far away and hope that attendance is sparse. Coulter playing to a small crowd in a big hall would be sweeeet.
Another student who got a scholarship is trying to bring Larry David here. THAT I won't miss.

6. I was thinking it would be great if nobody went |
|
That would be a great story. Instead of what controversy she caused by insulting people, etc.

bet there will be a lively bunch at her talk. If she thinks she is safe from ridiculing questioning b/c she is in Indiana, than she has no idea about B-ton and some rather lively IU students.

But I'll behave and stay home. If I got near the woman there is no telling when I would stop swinging my fists.

I'd go but Trent Reznor is much more important to me. I cant miss that concert. Have fun to anyone who is going. I might have a few hundred shirts you could borrow. Oh but wait, you might be arrested for "Protesting" with a shirt.

13. She was at Purdue last night. |
|
Interesting. Earlier this week was "The Vagina Monologues" and last night it was "The RECTUM Monologue"...
I missed it. But in the spirit of listening to Ann-Thrax Coulter talk, I farted several times at home.

...I'd rather take a piece of cast-iron piping and repeatedly pummel my testicles with it, while monkeys throw shit at me and crows peck out my pancreas.

Thanks. I'm not very active on the net due to a family that keeps me busy. However, I thought that having things broken down by state was interesting.
