I have a Tivo so I don't see a lot of commercials, but tonight I'm watching live TV and have no choice. And on comes an ad for Daniel's.

Bleck!!! The Repugs are so stuck on this whole welfare thing! Isn't that from the 80's? Get some new balony to fling at us. Argh. I'm just feeling frustrated. He's going to "weed the garden". What the heck does that mean??

The guy can barely speak in those ads, so he's right in line with W. Ugh.

Ok -- sorry for the rant. It's getting to me tonight. :)

In good news, my neighbor put up a sign for the Dem candidate for our Rep. So, that's cool. I think us Dems totally out number the Repugs in my little neighborhood.

Pure and simple. And the IPALCO thing is going to sink him fast, so no worries.

And actually, in my part of IN, they've really dealt with the long lines at the BMV. It's really not bad at all anymore.

Do you think that Daniels is using a fake accent to appear more hometown?

I don't know first hand whether Daniels speaks the way he does in the ads the same in real life or not. If anyone knows personally please respond.


Daniels should have an easier time bankrupting Indiana considering it has a tight budget.

4. He's faking it

The guy is a pure carpetbagger at this point - he's lived out of Indiana more than in at this point, and his accent was nowhere near that pronouced at the beginning.

I understand that he tries to hide the fact that he lives in Indy. Suggesting that he lives in the Bloomington area.
