Complete Description: Politics & the Religious Right -- Politics and the Religious Right is an open panel discussion on how the religious right has gained influence over a variety of political issues, especially that of the gay rights movement. Discussion will also include how this relates to the separation of church and state. Guest speakers will be: Keith Washington, Governor of the Indy chapter of the Human Rights Campaign, Susan Brooks Thistlethwaite, President of the Chicago Theological Seminary, Kim Lanaham, President of the Indy chapter of Americans United for the Separation of Church & State, and Emma Cullen, President of the IUB College Democrats.
