The following is from an e-mail from a peace activist. Ann Wright will also be the keynote speaker at the Second Midwest Peace Summit on April 7-9, School of Informatics, IUPUI campus.


Col. Ann Wright to speak in Terre Haute on April 9

Hello all,

Just writing to let everyone know that Col. Ann Wright, one of the three ambassadors who resigned when Bush entered Iraq will speak in Terre Haute at the First Unitarian Universalist Congregation at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday April 9th. The church is located at 1875 S. Fruitridge Ave. about a mile south of Poplar St. Event is free. The title of her talk is: Dissent in a Democracy: The War on Iraq.

Col. Wright has been arrested several times with Cindy Sheehan for protesting the war.
