Indiana DU Meet Up Thurs. May 4!

We're long overdue to get together again and I miss you guys, so I'm calling a DU meeting...
Thursday, May 4 at Spencer's Stadium Tavern, 802 S. West Street, Indianapolis, starting at 6:30 PM.
Spencer's is a nice little Democrat-friendly place (thanks to Voltaire for suggesting it).
This is the Thursday night after the primaries, so we should have some interesting things to discuss.
I'd also like to take a stab at developing a calendar of future meeting dates between now and November, so we can meet (and drink) more frequently!

I have just one request: if you see a good example of effective campaign literature (direct mail, letters, post cards, etc.), could you bring it to share with us? Democrats have GOT to become better at marketing, and it would help me to learn what you think works and doesn't work as we head into the November campaigns. Personally, I really like Kiser's "Who will hold them accountable?" direct mail piece I got this week (he's running against Julia Carson in the primary).

I have tried to figure out where this is - I sometimes drive across McCarty from east to west street - but haven't been able to 'spot' this place. Which corner - which side? I will drive by that area tomorrow and will scope it out.

The South West corner of the intersection of McCarty and West Streets. I think Spence has a newer and bigger sign up, but I am not sure. I know he has paved the parking space now and set up seating outdoors, so hopefully its a nice evening and we can imbibe outside.

5. I found it on Saturday when I was driving in the area.

Realized that I had been on Morris earlier, not McCarty hence my confusion... at that corner the only place I could find promoted dancing girls - and I *knew* that wasn't the place - but duh - that's because I was on the wrong street crossing s. west!

...it will be the lawyers, checking to see if there is ANYTHING amiss in the voting that they might point to as a reason why, then find somebody/anybody/everyone to sue. His types are unable to accept blame that the problem lies with them.
