This Friday, President George Bush will be in town to host a fundraiser for Judy Baar Topinka. Since the President so rarely graces us with his esteemed presence here in Chicago, we're going to help roll out the blue carpet for a proper Chicago welcome. Let's tell the President, and Karl Rove's pick for Governor, Topinka, that the GOP has taken America in the wrong direction. We need your help to send a loud message, please join us this Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM.

3. I just got back from a protest in Saint Louis last Wednesday -

if I had known * was going to be in Chicago I would go there, too.

He needs to meet with protests wherever he shows up.

If we remain silent, we are tacitly approving his policies.

We need a rapid response network of activists who are willing to group together and stand up against this regime.
