Colts/ Pats halftime show |
|
Anybody else see this? I was at the game and they trot out this two-bit country star with a bad voice. His first song is about coming back from a war "where everyone hates what we stand for". What an ignornant line in the song. If they hate what we stand for, then why are we there?
The second song is an anti-war critic song referring to being in Iraq because the towers fell. I was so pissed I wanted to boo, but there were troops on teh field with him. I really didn't appreciate it, especially as a season ticket holder.
I really didn't want to see a pro-war rally at that great game. Disgusting.
Go Colts!

1. Gawd, I had to hear that crap TWICE |
|
I work at the Dome as an usher during the games. I have to get there about 3 or 4 hours before game time, so I get to hear the singers if they have them. He had me wanting to puke before the freaking gates opened!!!! Be lucky you only had to hear it once!!!!
By the way....I love my Eagles but.....GO COLTS!!!!

2. Darryl Worley I assume |

P.O.S. no talent tool, was a nobody in nashivlle till he wrote "have you forgotten" the song that magically links Iraq and 911. Is anyone's surpised that it's Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfield's favorite song.
People give lot of grief to Toby Keith for his patriotic songs, Toby at least actually had a successful career before he wrote his songs unlike Worley. At least his "Boot in the ass" song is about being angry about 911, the song doesn't link 911 to Iraq.
