So Rep Burton - on the hotseat for no shows on votes - misses the WR |
|
hearings - or at least the first day? How arrogant is that? News coverage of his avoidance for votes (often opting instead for celebrity golfing trips) - and he appologizes - goes all humble and tries to make excuses... what was that two, three weeks ago? Yet yesterday (tuesday) he SKIPS the Walter Reed committee hearing? I hope that even a half-way decent democrat opts to run against him. He is going to be vulnerable, even in his conservative district, in 2008 - all due to self-inflicted wounds.

2. Too busy with his new wife |

he plays that excuse too much with the public - than folks will start to wonder about what happened to the old wife... arrogance - the gift that at some points starts giving and keeps giving. Hope some political rival capitalizes on the weakness this time around.
btw :hi: Great to see you!

3. He is expected to have an opponent in the Republican primary |
|
Democrat has a better chance of winning if the Burton's opponent wins.
