Tibetan monks to visit Terre Haute

The Sacred Arts Tour Group of Drepung Gomang Monastery will be visiting the Terre Haute Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Terre Haute, 1875 South Fruitridge Ave. on Sunday, May 13th (next week).
Events:

1:00-2:00 pm. Chanting, followed by Teaching on compassion by Geshe Lobzang Samdup. Topic: A Tribute ot All Mothers

2:00-3:30 pm. Three simultaneous art workshops at different stations: sand painting, butter sculpture, and coloring Tibetan motifs (for children)

3:45-5:15 pm. Tibetan Momo Cooking Class

5:30-6:30 pm. Tibetan dinner with Momos (Tibetan dumplings)

7:00-8:30 pm. A Cultural Pageant of Tibet

Suggested donation for whole days activities: $20. or - Suggested per event: $5 each, $10 for dinner.
