The boil-water notice was issued today and could last until Saturday for the area bounded by Ditch Road on the west, Oak Ridge Road on the east, and between 146th and 136th streets.
“This precautionary boil water notice is in effect due to the fact that a 12-inch water line was damaged by road construction crews in the area,” a notice from city said today. “The incident occurred this morning and crews have been on the scene throughout the day.”
“This may take as long as 72 hours. You will be notified when the boil water notice is lifted but we expect it to be Saturday, June 23.”
