That reality disturbs me on so many levels.

3. Look for even more foreclosures...

Drive through any of the newer home additions here in Franklin Township. Lots of "notices" can be seen on vacant homes. One woman I talked to said that the foreclosure numbers in her neighborhood were running about 25%.

Are November taxes still going to be due in November? Too much for many homeowners to be able to pay.

I'm afraid that the "long, hot, and very volatile summer" will be lasting several years.

4. I agree that the reverberations from this - along with the economy

which is stagnant, per incomes, for many - will last for quite some time.

By the November taxes - the tax hikes will have been translated into big rent increases - displacing both homeowners and renters.
