I'm from NY and never paid more than $30 for Water during any point in the year.
You could literally fill a swimming pool and not pay over $30 a month for water.
My !minimum! bill from Mishawaka water is $80 per month. My highest so far was $155 (new lawn) but one of my neighbors had a whopper at around $200!!
Is this normal around these parts? I will say, I am definately conserving water as best I can and even on the month in which I was on vacation for two weeks, it still cost me about $80!

$100.00 water, 96.00 sewer.
We're doing good if our water bill is 80.00! Which is rare. I wish we could move.........to another state.

3. Wow. I only pay $35 a month down here |

I can only think it has something to do with treatment or something, if it's not just pure fleecing.

5. They do have a water treatment.. |
|
Our bill involves water usage and sewer (which is based on water usage)
Although the water goes through a treatment plant, it is amazing how hard the water is, as well, it contains a high level of Iron and Magnese which my water softener does not reduce.
I thought about Reverse Osmosis but that's an arm and a leg itself, plug it will waste more water.
