Anybody else going to the Bloomington Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds concert for Obama?

Fan of all three here who wouldn't miss this for the world!

I saw Dave solo when Farm Aid was in Noblesville and have seen the band there a dozen times, but have never had an opportunity to see Dave & Tim. Never thought it would happen.

1. I'm not but my daughter found out about it after-the-fact--

she's from/lives at Purdue and she drove by the local Obama HQ and saw a bunch of people in line to get tickets for it (or so she thinks from hindsight). She said it was sold out already by the time she checked back.

2. It was phenomenal.

Dave's my favorite artist, though, so I may be biased.

His political comments weren't heavy-handed and it was a brilliant show.

Some college students (I'm in my 40s and was in the 90th percentile in terms of audience age) who were behind me in line were saying that most people were there for Dave and not Obama and that Obama wouldn't draw this kind of crowd.

I'm sure Obama can fill Assembly Hall, though the demographics of the crowd may be different. Apparently, Obama is to be in town on Friday! There are no details yet, so he may or may not be in the Hall. Wherever he is, I hope to be there.
