Any good new stations/programs here in the Indianapolis area? |
|
Does anybody know of any good news/politics-oriented radio shows here in or around Indy? I like to listen to listen to news/politics-oriented radio shows but it seems like the only shows on radio stations around her are extreme RW (i.e. Garrison, Limbaugh, et. al). Asking for a more liberal/progressive radio show may be a tall order around here but right now I'd settle for a more moderate/centrist show if one is available. Any stations/programs fit this bill? Right now, the only "sane" place to get any kind of national news/politics is WFYI/NPR.

Do you ever listen to Abdul in the morning? He's on 1430. I guess he's pretty centrist. Sometimes he says things on both sides and I think he just likes to stir things up. Still, it's better than listening to endless congratulation of a certain other party.

2. I occasionally tune in to his show |

His is pretty much the most "balanced" show I can find on the dial anywhere on local stations. He talks about issues from both sides without being excessively partisan IMHO which is a plus. The only thing that turns me off of his show is that the station is constantly interrupting with traffic reports, news, or ads.
