We need GOTV help in Cass County!

We;ve been working our hearts out for months here--just a handful of us since the primaries. We now have many voters to GOTV but the manpower needed seems impossible! A bunch didn't show up today to GOTV. I hear it was a depressing effort. The early voting centers were open from 10am-7pm today with not enough workers to GOTV!!

We are located at 15th & Smead St. in Logansport Sunday 11am-8pm;Monday 9am-8pm;Tuesday 9am-6pm. The county Dem chairman is mad at the Obama campaign organizer and said he isn't doing anything but watching a movie starting today and that we can handle the rest until election day.

Please, if anyone can come and help us after all this hard work we would greatly appreciate it. :cry: :cry: :cry: Our little handful of Obama people are sad.

On a similar note: we know that in 2004 10,000 voters voted. As of Friday 6,000 of those voters have already voted. We just need to find out if ours have turned out!!!

1. Report the guy to the state party. They can probably connect you with

the state Obama organizer.

We couldn't even get through half our first round of walk packs these past 2 days. Some counties are already on their second walks. We will have about 52 or so high school kids on election day. However, the best time to have gotten through these packs the first time would've been this weekend!! Tomorrow most of the voters will probably be at work! We won't have as good of odds to contact them on Monday!! No union people have come to help us, either!

3. Have you contacted the Dem HQ in St. Joe County (South Bend, IN)?

We're only about 1 1/2 hours or so from you. We had a TON of people from Chicago out helping us out over the weekend -- maybe some people from South Bend could come down your way? PM me if you need contact info!
