I was at the school where I teach. The inauguration was during my lunch time, so we set it up on one of the projectors connected to the internet. I was so glad I got to watch it live! My daughter got watch it in her classroom, too.

It has truly been a wonderful day!

1. There were times I did not think we would make it

And it made yesterday all the more sweet. The crowds were amazing. And the booing and singing were well deserved for two of the biggest criminals to ever darken the door of the executive branch. I stayed home with my wife and her sister and we drank shots for all the important stuff, especially when Marine One and then Air Force Two took off. I sobered up just enough to get to school last night! Well worth it.

3. On July 22, I predicted Obama would carry Indiana

I only got the time wrong in which Indiana would officially go blue.

5. I'm late to the party but checking in nontheless! :)

My college-age daughter went and she loved it! It was her "Woodstock"! She brought me back an inaugural t-shirt and her dad a Vietnam Memorial replica(he's a Vietnam Vet). Lots of happy pictures, too! :)
