It's okay if you're a Republican - right?
Just another day in the life of an embarrassed Hoosier. Gawd!

3. I am a Hoosier, by birth. |

I guarantee you that he is only "embarrassed" that he got caught. What he said would be a typical rethug and blue-dog response in Indiana.
Tennessee is no better. I get, IMO, insane "updates" from my (ye-haw, wealth is great) representative, Marsha Blackburn. Sometimes I reply and comment on her insensitivity to other classes. I have yet to receive a response, but I guarantee you, that a dangerous Progressive like me, is on a list somewhere.
Actually, IMO. Indiana is a "liberal bastion" compared to Tennessee. If our Nation were any further to the "right," people like me would at the least, have to wear an identifying mark.

4. First trial extension announced yesterday |

trial postponed to Sept 12 now. Believe this will be the first of many such extensions.Looks like Charlie will stay in office until end of term and save embarrassing the Republican party. "Justice delayed is justice denied."

5. Second Delay , etc., etc., etc., etc.,etc |
|
Change of attorney. Change of venue, change of judge, appeal, appeal, etc. Suddenly it's 2014; term over. Motion to dismiss, granted. Sorry you were bothered, Charley. Please accept the apology of the State of Indiana. After all you are a Republican and we know your heart is in the right place no matter where you decide to live, register, vote or hold office.

got the delay tactics out of sequence, above. Did not realize a motion to dismiss would spring forth so quickly. Should have realized the legal maxim of "innocent until proven broke" could prompt such quick action.
