New era politics
I think candidate should declare who they would appoint to cabinet positions. I know the primaries/ caucus season has not begun yet (or maybe it has and I missed it:)but this would be a way to bring all the expertise of the Dem candidates into an administration/government that needs an enema.
I would like to see this happen...

Edwards Prez
Feingold as VP
General Clark Sec. Defense
Biden Sec. State
Richardson Sec. Energy
Dodd Sec. of Interior
Obama Foreign affairs
Hillary Sec. Education

2. Clark has to wait two more years before he can be Sec. of Defense
but I agree with him in that position

Richardson might want to do something new since he's already been Sec. of Energy - maybe he and Obama can switch off?

6. I'd like to see Richardson go for that senate seat in NM
Personally, I think Joe Biden should stay right where he is at - as head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. I believe his expertise is best used there.

8. I agree with you on Richardson - I thought he had aleard said no to the Senate race
but he'd be a good one there.

Who would you have as SOS if not Biden?

5. I've got to do a little switching here...
I would make Biden Prez of course...I'm cool with everything else, I might put Harkin in Sec. of Education and switch Richardson to foreign affairs, and Obama for Energy....Maybe Webb as Sec. of State and how about Edwards for Supreme Court?
But I could definitely live with your lineup.

9. Ohhh, Harkin
I'd want him somewhere that he'd be able to set the agenda for Disability rights (and human rights) if Ed is it so be it.

7. I'd make a few changes
I love Feingold as VP and think a Edwards/Feingold ticket would balance out geographically. I would make a couple changes. I'd keep Biden in the Senate because his leadership as chair of the Foreign Relations Co. is invaluable. I'd put Richardson as Sec. of State in his place. I'd put Robert F. Kennedy Jr as Sec. of Energy or Sec. of Interrior or head of the EPA. We need Obama and in the Senate.

I like your idea though.
