Culver caves to Gross & Pomerantz on Education Committee.

What's the story on that? I don't get it. There was some lawsuit G. & P. were going to bring. Was Chet scared of that for some reason? I wish Gross and Pomerantz and the editorial staff of the DMR would quit trying to tamper with Iowa education. Mergers do not necessarily make for better schools and more hoops for educators to jump through will just cut down on potential teachers and Iowa is perenially losing educators to other states from vanity committees and their interference already.

This story was in the Metro section of the DMR 11/1 for some reason.
