Got a hand-written note in the mail today

from a woman in California asking me to caucus for John Edwards. Anyone else get one? I was impressed. This is a good tactic on the part of the Edwards campaign. I will be caucusing for John, BTW.

I got a holiday card from John and Teresa Kerry (very cool because it has real signatures)

Full-color campaign lit from the Edwards campaign

Various white papers from the Biden campaign (letter said I'd recently spoken to their campaign about my concerns... ??? ... I think my last concerns were if I was going to get home from the Waverly by midnight)

A letter from Tom Vilsack (not his real signature) on behalf of the Clinton campaign, drawing my attention to a recent OpEd piece in the NY Times about health care and "mudslinging"

A holiday card from my uncle-and-aunt-in-laws

The Janet Evanovich newsletter (She's an author that keeps me rolling with laughter, if you're wondering)

A $10 full-color coupon that JCPenney wants me to believe was printed "just for me"

...And a partridge in a pear tree...

(Although I was hoping someone would send me either a large hammer or Tamiflu -- being sick sucks.)

I received this push-poll phone call, and it was a very unpleasant experience. I bailed out on the Hillary question, and wished the pollsters good luck in finding decent jobs somewhere.

A woman from Chicago sent a really nice letter. We even met in Davenport for dinner and a baseball game. It was nice touch.

Seeing the positive feedback, I helped coordinate a hand written letter campaign that went to all Clark-04 supporters, and anyone who had supported WesPAC in Iowa since... I think it went over very well, we followed up the letters with a phone campaign and received mostly very positive feedback.

So anyway, thanks for everyone posting on this thread, it led to a great project!
