or anyone that may have some info....
We usually open general election campaign headquarters in June - I know we have Senate, Congressional, and Iowa House Seats, but canvass activity in coordinated campaigns usually center around presidential candidate - does anyone know the IDP plan if we don't have a nominee in June?
Also, most of us have been exposed to some fantastic staffing and campaign practices for all the Presidential campaigns, here's hoping IDP able to pick up some of these fantastic young people and practices for the general election.

We usually open an office in June, but talked recently about opening the office in May to get a jump on things. It was assumed the nominee would be decided by then, though. :)

2. I know that some staff have already been hired |
|
I'm not sure what percentage of the total staff has already been hired, but I do know that some have. I also know that we have staff returning at the state level from the 2006 coordinated -- something that's going to be especially helpful.
While I cannot and will not speak for the IDP, I know the staff is working hard to get the coordinated campaign underway. It's been a long time since a presidential nomination process has gone all the way to convention -- and it's not a done deal that it will happen this year.
If you need specifics, feel free to email or PM me. I may not know the answers, but I can put you in touch with IDP staff that do.
