Anyone else here go to legislative forums |
You know - usually on Saturday mornings - gatherings where local legislators express their views on what goes on in DM? Our local ones are swamped with Republitards. I am getting so frustrated that I think I will start telling people I have Tourette's syndrome. That way I can screw my head around and give out with a hearty "bullshit" or "fuck you" at the proper time. Our local reps are two of the most pathetic people I have ever seen. I am not too sure that Hahn could spell his own name. Yesterday, speaking about the smoking ban and effects of second hand smoke, Hahn said "I don't know who makes that stuff up." Kaufmann goes on about how fair share will kill 'right to work'. Not that that would be bad, but there is no relation. And the idiots in the audience cheer.

1. Fair Share isn't even being discussed |
It lost. Dems aren't even talking about it this session. The republicans are talking like Fair Share is a ghost that is haunting them in their dreams.

3. Yeah, but I think they will use it as a wedge issue come November. |
I got push polled on it around caucus time (that was before I quit answering polls).

6. Repugs bring it up in ours - just to drive the wedge I believe |
They have little but fear to sell and {boogie boogie} losing your job (and health care) is a great fear they will exploit.

5. Depends on your district or county |
Contact your local Dem central committee member or chair or call or write your local rep. I have no idea if everybody does them, but I do believe they would rather see people than empty seats.
