2. I tried to see if there was any indication of that. |
|
But I saw none. From the rumors that are flying this may all be over soon anyway, I hope.

6. You better ask Cornfield, but I'm ok with it! Lol. |

Hey, how is everything up there anyway? I am so sorry to hear that you had so much cleanup to do... how is it coming? I had some large branches to cut and haul from my dad's but nothing catastrophic and nothing too costly. I hope all is well with you!

7. We're in pretty good shape (still feel so bad for P-Burg and NH crowd!) |
|
Our garage is now gone (demolished) and all the damaged stuff (patio table/chairs/flower pots)have been cleaned up and hauled away. We are waiting on the weather so our incredible carpenter can start the roof and window repairs (and rebuild the garage) and so our great neighbor (who lost his pole barn and many many trees as well as windows in several of his vehicles) can cut up and haul out our remaining downed trees (and yet he had a cookout Memorial Day evening for all the folks who helped him start the clean up on his property). So come on sunshine!! One car is already being repaired and the other is drivable until it goes in for repairs. We are so lucky that everything is falling in to place - I'm just really worried about the cost of it all and hopeful insurance covers it! How do the people who lost everything cope with this? I've cleaned out closets and brought 5 boxes of clothing to Goodwill hoping to help w/clothes people have lost. It's just crazy! I just don't know where to start.
We were at the grocery store Sunday night and a lady pulled in w/Butler County plates on her banged up car. I said, "It's gotta be" and she looked at our Mountaineer, laughed and said, "Yep, you too, huh?". She lost all but two walls of her home and had been on non-stop clean up for seven days. And yet there she was headed to grab some groceries for the week. *sigh*
Thanks for asking -
