How far up First Ave does the CR flooding reach?
Edited on Fri Jun-13-08 02:05 PM by TwoSparkles
I watched the KCRG aerial footage of the CR flood, and it's really unbelievable.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how far up First Avenue the flooding goes, to the West of Mays
Island? I see the Dairy Queen on First Avenue completely underwater. If you continue West on First
Avenue--how far up does the flooding go? Where does it stop?

I know some people with businesses on First Avenue--in the 500-600 block I believe. Dairy Queen is in the 200
block, right on First Avenue.

I'm wondering if those businesses are underwater.

Thanks for any info.

1. Not completely sure
I know that St. Patrick's Church is flooded -- including their new rec center that was built on the west side of the property. The last that I heard the staging area was at 10th St. on that side (That's where they are putting in rescue boats.)
