Not living in Keokuk now, but it is my hometown. There is one major industry on the riverfront currently behind a 30' flood wall. The waste water plant is behind the same wall. They are currently sand bagging around the water works which is outside the flood wall. The river needs to reach 1993 levels to put water works in danger.

All the rest of Keokuk sits up on the bluff. The bridge is closing off and on due to the Illinois approach being in a low lying area.

Now I live up in the general vicinity of Iowa City/Cedar Rapids. Sometimes it has seemed like the entire known world is under water.
